retro | vintage | thrifty: the junction flea
February 8, 2013
After this latest winter storm passes and you feel like venturing out again this weekend, why not head to The Junction Flea market Sunday morning? I had been meaning to visit this sale at the outdoor location in the West Toronto Junction in the warmer months, but never have. So last month I was happy to stumble upon a retweet noting that the Flea has moved indoors in the cooler months, on the second Sunday of the month, at the historic Great Hall on Queen St. W. at Dovercourt. Such a beautiful building in which to showcase some fabulous vintage and crafty wares, food, clothing, jewellery, and decor from a variety of independent vendors.

Oh this looks very promising. Did you come home with any treasures?
Nope, nothing for me that day, but this market offers a good mix of really interesting vintage offerings.
I went today for my first time and was so impressed. Can’t wait to go back.
How’s the price range? And is there an entry fee?
Thanks.
Hope you’re making it out this Sunday! Come visit us at The Eye of Faith!
