urban flower merchants

April 4

It is Easter Sunday and with the warm temps most of Canada is experiencing, spring is definitely here; so I thought I’d share a few photos of flower merchants I’ve taken on my travels and locally.  Portobello Road in London is known for its antique vendors; this flower market adds to the colourful vibe of the street market. New York is known for its delicatessens – why not pick up a bouquet with your pastrami on rye? A flower market on a square in Rome offers an interesting perspective. And the charm of Toronto’s Distillery District’s 19th century brick buildings and cobbled lanes is echoed in this abundant display of foliage.
