update: craigslist image previewer

March 13

About a year ago I did this post about a plug-in for Mozilla’s Firefox web browser that allows for quick viewing of images right in the search results pages of Craigslist.ca. Well for some reason that particular plug-in stopped working. I hadn’t actually visited Craigslist in a while, mostly because without this simple feature it was a more labourious process. So I set about finding another add-on that works – and found one by Rock Your Firefox. It works on both Macs and PCs and allows for custom sizing of images in the preferences as well as providing a preview of the ad page by simply hovering over the chevron to the right of the listing. Craigslist searches rock once again. (Although, the odd time I found the images didn’t load on the first go, but refreshing the page quickly resolved that.)

I can’t wait to try this, I also used the old previewer on your suggestion, loved it and was very disappointed when it didn’t work anymore. Thanks!!
