weekend happenings: aberfoyle antiques & of things past…

September 23

Oh, what a busy couple of weeks it has been. Granted one week of that was a vacation in sunny, hot south Florida. But this past week found me operating a team conference and working the NEWH booth at IIDEX/NeoCon. Although, it was very exciting to have NEWH as part of the inaugural Hospitality Canada feature section this, Canada’s premiere contract interior design show.

I guess it’s understandable that a couple of great events around antique and previously loved furniture seemed to have crept up on me. Thank goodness for the weekend.

Aberfoyle Antique Market Saturday Fall Special 2011

Thanks to many of my twitter followers/followees for reminding me of the Aberfoyle special Saturday antiques market, on tomorrow. I missed the fall Christie show so I’m hoping the wet weather will hold off enough to attend Aberfoyle. I look forward to crossing paths and sharing fab find stories at the show with Eat Live Shop, Rambling Renovators, Decor Happy, Cherish Toronto, Design Maze, Love Laugh Shop, and Eye See Pretty. Don’t forget your rubber boots!

Saturday September 24
8 am – 4 pm
Admission: $5/adult
Early admission at 7 am: $10/adult

57 Brock Road South, Aberfoyle, ON
(Just 1.5 miles north of Highway 401 at exit #299, south of Guelph)

…Of Things Past – 15% off sale

No matter what the weather I’ll be sure to pop by …of Things Past (185 Bridgeland Ave.) where their latest 15% off sale is on until September 25, which is in addition to their standard scale of price reductions of 15% after 60 days and 10% every 30 days thereafter on their inventory of used finer home furnishings and accessories.
