Christmas market @ the distillery
The weather in Toronto hasn’t been that Christmas-like for the majority of December, with unseasonably warm temperatures bringing far more rain than snow. Today’s snap of a bit of cold feels a bit more festive, and to help you get in the mood even more, a visit to the Christmas market happening until tomorrow, December 18, over at the Distillery District would definitely help.
For years I’ve been saying I would love to visit Europe in December to experience all of the wonderful Christmas markets. While not quite the same experience as a trip to Europe, the Lowe’s Toronto Christmas Market provides a festive touch of the Old World in this fabulously historic area of Toronto.
This free annual offers unique and local handcrafted products, musicians and carollers, Santa and his roaming elves, specialty beer and mulled wine gardens, and sweets and treats, alongside all of the unique shops, galleries, and restaurants of the Distillery.
