christmas came early – oh brother!

December 7
tags: ,

This is certainly a busy time of year with fitting in festive outings, with decorating for the season, shopping for gifts, and life’s general  duties and responsibilities. But despite the hectic schedule, last week I was happy to fit in an evening out and catch up time with my fellow design blogging community colleagues. The event was put on by Brother and hosted by Yummy Mummy  blogger Sarah Gunn, who showed us some pretty DIY projects produced with some fantastically, new, compact, and pretty  technology – the MFC-J4510DW all in one printer.

Now we all knew we were invited out to learn about this wirelessly networking printer, scanner, copier, and fax, with up to 11″ x 17″ format printing, home office do-it-all in a gorgeous little package that would suit any open concept living space (like my condo), all at an affordable retail price of less than $200. But little did we know that Christmas would come early for one and all, as each of us experienced a very Oprah’s favourite things moment that evening, going home with one of these beauties to call our very own. And so timely, as I had given up my dated, antiquated printer far too long ago and have everyday printing and crafty projects of my own in the queue.

It truly is amazing the community and the connections one can build in the blogging world. Yourself included! I am truly fortunate…
