a charity shop with a view
How is everyone’s summer going so far? Any special activities or trips planned? I just returned from the UK – London, Glasgow, Inverness, Edinburgh – thus the lull in posts in the last couple of weeks. I’ll share a few notable sites and photos in the coming weeks, but to start I just had to share photos of this sweet little charity shop with the most beautiful view of any thrift shop I’ve come across.
Located in Inverness, the capital of the Scottish Highlands, The Salvation Army Riverside Charity Shop is located not near, but actually on the banks of the Ness River, in a beautiful stone structure with stunning views. Unfortunately, though, I wasn’t able to venture inside to see if I could snag any Scottish thrifty finds as the shop hours of 1pm to 4pm didn’t align with my sightseeing adventures.
Sounds like a terrific trip. Lucky you!
I love finding quirky new charity shops to discover treasure in! This one sounds gorgeous and what a perfect location! What a shame you couldn’t go in for a browse during your trip.
